28/01/2013: RENOWNED PHILIPPINE SINGING GROUP "THE COMPANY" VISITED THE PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GENERAL

The renowned Philippine singing group “The Company” together with the Principal of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School Pilar Perez Williams, and Father Val Rodriguez of St Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School paid a courtesy call on Consul General Bayani V. Mangibin at the Consulate General on  25 January 2013 to personally invite the officers and staff for their  upcoming concert entitled ‘Music from the Heart 3” on 26 January 2013 at the Father Duenas Phoenix Center.
The concert is a fundraising event of the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School for the benefit of the school and its scholarship program.
Mr. Emelio  Uy, a Filipino-American businessman and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Filipino Community of Guam hosted a luncheon in honor of the singing group at Aurora Resort Hotel on the same day, where the singing group serenaded the guests with their acapella rendition of “Para Sa Iyo”.
Senator Dennis G. Rodriguez,Jr. of the 32nd Guam Legislature and his family, Archbishop Anthony S. Apuron, OFMCap.DD of the Archdiocese of Agaña, Faculty member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School and Officers and staff of the Consulate General also joined the luncheon. END
