The EMG aims to teach Filipino values, culture, geography, language to Filipino and Filipino-American children on Guam and to develop their talents in singing and dancing at a young age. During the commencement program, the students demonstrated the knowledge they acquired by performing a Philippine folk song, “Bahay Kubo”, and a folk dance, “Lubi-Lubi”. They also showed their ability to speak the Filipino language they just learned by telling bits and pieces about the Philippines and themselves and by reciting a short poem of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, “Sa Aking Mga Kababata”.
