CONSULAR JURISDICTION OVER PALAU AND THE FEDERATED STATES OF MICRONESIA IN VIEW OF THE CLOSURE OF THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN KOROR, PALAU

The Philippine Consulate General in Agana, Guam wishes to inform the public that, in light of the recent closure of the Philippine Embassy in Koror, Palau, Philippine consular jurisdiction over Palau and the Federated States of Micronesia is now being exercised by the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila through its Office of Asian and Pacific Affairs (ASPAC).

For authentication of documents issued in/originating from Palau and Micronesia, the Consulate General wishes to refer you to the said office with the following contact details:

With reference to passport applications, in view of the implementation of the ePassport system, personal appearance is required for all passport applications.  Hence, passport applicants from Palau and FSM may apply for their passports either at the Office of Consular Affairs located at the ASEANA Building, Macapagal Avenue, Parañaque City, at any Regional Consular Office in the Philippines or at any Philippine Embassy or Consulate General nearest and most accessible to them.END
