The Philippine Consulate General successfully opened the 8th Monthly Guam Filipino Artists' (GFA) Exhibit at its Consular Area, featuring spouses Rolly Zepeda and Tina Chang Zepeda.

Mr. Zepeda, who is also the founder and current President of the GFA, is a native of Tobacco, Albay, and is an art teacher at the St. Anthony Catholic School in Tamuning.  On the other hand, Ms. Tina Zepeda is a native of Baguio City, Philippines and is a retired art teacher from Mount Carmel Elementary School in Saipan and Bishop Baumgartner School on Guam.  Both have bachelor degrees in Fine Arts from the Technological University of the Philippines.

This month's exhibit showcases watercolor paintings from both artists and an installation piece using mixed media created by Mr. Zepeda.  The piece entitled “Stop! Enough!” is a visual commentary on “crab mentality”.
