Guam Governor Signs Proclamation Honoring Filipino-Guamanians in the Month of June 2012  in Celebration of the 114th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence


Governor Eddie Baza Calvo signed Proclamation No. 2012-055 honoring Filipino-Guamanians in the month of June 2012, in celebration of the 114th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence.  Looking on are (L-R) Consul General Bayani V. Mangibin, Lt. Gov. Ray Tenorio, Sen. Aline Yamashita and Sen. Shirley "Sam" Mabini of the 31st Guam Legislature.


Officers and members of the Filipino Community of Guam, led by its president Ms. Leah Beth Naholowaa, and board chairman, Mr. Emelio Uy, Filipino-Guamanian Cabinet members of the Calvo Administration, and officers of the Philippine Consulate General join Governor Calvo (seated, center), Consul General Mangibin (seated, 4th Left) and Lt. Gov. Ray Tenorio (seated, 3rd Right) for a photo opportunity after the signing ceremony.  Visiting local official from the Philippines, Mayor Suzette Mamon of Badiangan, Iloilo (seated, 3rd Left) also witnessed the ceremony.
