to Register for Overseas Absentee Voting

The Philippine Consulate General in Agana, Guam registered its 361st OAV registrant, Ms. Ruvigilda Anas Ampurias (center), originally from Alimodian, Iloilo.  Consul General Bayani V. Mangibin greeted Ms. Ampurias and thanked her for her interest to become a part of the Philippine electoral process.  He likewise encouraged her to urge her friends and relatives on Guam, who are still Filipino citizens or dual citizens, to register as overseas absentee voters in order that they may also exercise their constitutionally protected right of suffrage.   Joining Consul General Mangibin and Ms. Ampurias  in the photo is Vice Consul Maria Paz Cortes, who is a Comelec-designated administering officer for OAV registration.END
