KUNDIRANA 2012 CONCERT RAISES FUNDS FOR TYPHOON SENDONG VICTIMS

 

The Kundirana 2012 - Change the World Concert was successfully held on Friday, 17 February 2012 at the Phoenix Center of the Father Duenas Memorial High School in Mangilao, Guam.  The concert was brought to Guam by the Archdiocese of Agana and the La Salle Young Artists’ Foundation Incorporated in coordination with its main sponsors, National Office Supply and Bank of Guam.

Proceeds of the concert were for the benefit of the Redemptoris Mater Archdiocesan Missionary Seminary of Guam and the victims of Typhoon Sendong.  The check presentation for the US$3950.40 donation for the victims of Typhoon Sendong was made by Archbishop Anthony Apuron (2nd, L) immediately after the concert.

Philippine Consul General to Agana, Hon. Bayani V. Mangibin (center), together with the officers and staff of the Consulate General, attended the concert and witnessed the check presentation.  Government of Guam officials, including Gov. Eddie Calvo, First Lady Christine Calvo and Senators of the 31st Guam Legislature also attended the fundraising concert.END
