Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Guam Donates to the Filipino Community of Guam for Typhoon Sendong Relief Efforts

 

The Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Guam (CCCG), led by its President Mr. George Lai, presented a check for US$14,240.00 to the Filipino Community of Guam (FCG), represented by FCG's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Emelio Uy, as donation for the FCG's fundraising campaign for the victims of Typhoon Sendong in Mindanao.  The CCCG raised funds from its members and from various establishments and businesses on island in order to help the FCG's fundraising efforts.  Guam Premier Outlet President Monte Mesa also presented a check amounting to US$1000.00 as GPO's donation to FCG's campaign.

Vice Consul Maria Paz Cortes of the Philippine Consulate General in Agana, Guam, together with Ms. Thelma Sta. Ana and Ms. Rowena Garcia, witnessed the check presentation at the CCCG office in Tamuning.
