02/11/2011: Philippine Consulate General in Agana, Guam Registers First OAV Applicant
The Philippine Consulate General in Agana, Guam started its Overseas Absentee Voting Registration today, 02 November 2011 with its first registrant, Ms. Sarah Jane Dimaano Davis. Ms. Davis recently arrived in Guam from Olongapo City.
Consul Edgar Tomas Q. Auxilian was on hand to witness Ms. Davis' registration and congratulated her for being the first OAV registrant for the continuing registration for the 2013 National Elections.
All Filipino citizens residing or working on Guam, including dual citizens, 18 years old or older or will be 18 years old by 13 May 2013, are encouraged to enlist as an overseas absentee voter. Applicants are reminded to bring their valid Philippine passports at the time of registration.
The Consulate General is open Mondays through Fridays, 9 am to 5 pm, (except during Philippine holidays) to accept applications for registration. The OAV registration will continue until 31 October 2012.END
