PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GENERAL IN GUAM HOLDS 7TH POST-ARRIVAL ORIENTATION SEMINAR

The Philippine Consulate General in Agana, Guam held its 7th Post Arrival Orientation Seminar for newly arrived Filipino workers and immigrants on Guam yesterday afternoon, 03 April 2011 at the Dededo Senior Citizens’ Center.

A total of 35 participants attended the seminar, which aims to provide information regarding important US and Guam laws, government programs and services.  Speakers included representatives from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, US and Guam Departments of Labor, Guam Department of Public Health and Social Service, Guam Department of Education, Social Security Administration, and non-government institutions such as, Victims Advocate Reaching Out (VARO), the Pacific Daily News, Bank of Guam, and Metrobank and Allied Bank.END

Filipino immigrants and workers who recently arrived in Guam participate in the Philippine Consulate General’s 7th Post Arrival Orientation Seminar.
