6th Ambassadors, Consuls General & Tourism Directors Tour, 17-20 July 2011
The Philippine Consulate General invites everyone interested to join the 6th Ambassadors, Consuls General and Tourism Directors Tour (ACGTDT) from 17-20 July 2011.
The ACGTDT is an annual project of Philippine Foreign Service Posts in the United States and Canada, in cooperation with representatives of the Department of Tourism assigned in key cities in the US mainland and Canada. It aims to promote the Philippines not only as a tourist destination but also as a viable investment option and/or retirement haven. It caters to foreign nationals as well as to former Filipinos and dual citizens, particularly those who have been away from the country for a very long time.
The tour package includes a three (3) nights/four (4) days stay (with breakfast) at the Dusit Thani Hotel, which is located at the heart of the Makati business district and very close to shopping complexes such as the Ayala Center, SM Makati and Greenbelt. It features a City Tour of Old Manila and the new Manila Ocean Park, a guided tour of the Malacañang Museum and lunch at the Malacañan Palace. The tour’s highlight will be the photo opportunity with His Excellency, President Benigno Simeon Aquino III.
Participants will also have a choice of a one day out-of-town tour to any of these destinations: Corregidor, Laguna and Quezon Province, Batangas and Cavite, and Bulacan and Pampanga Province. Culinary activities will be highlighted in these tours with the exception of Corregidor, which is mainly a historical and cultural tour. Airport transfers, porterage and other amenities are likewise provided by the ACGTDT’s partner, Rajah Tours.
The basic tour package (3N/4D), excluding airfare, costs US$470.00 based on double occupancy. Those who wish to enjoy an extra day may avail of the 4N/5D package at US$535.00. Philippine Airlines (PAL) has kindly extended to the Consulate General a special airfare rate of only US$311.36 for the Guam-Manila-Guam flight, which is valid for a maximum of 14 days stay in the Philippines.
Participants also have the option to join a 3N/4D post tour (20-23 July 2011) to the following destinations:

The registration period for the basic tour will run from 21 March 2011 to 20 May 2011. Reservations must be made together with the deposit of a non-refundable fee of US$130.00 payable to Rajah Tours International and $57.00 payable to Philippine Airlines, if participant wishes to avail of the special airline package. Full payment of the basic tour package must be made on or before 03 June 2011.
